Copyright Information
The purpose of Laudate Dominum Communion Antiphons is to provide liturgical musicians with simple, English-language settings of the proper communion antiphons to be used at Mass or in other non-commercial settings. If you are using the antiphons in this context, they may be duplicated royalty-free in whatever quantity needed. There is no need to contact Laudate Dominum to seek copyright permission for non-commercial use of the compositions found on this site.
Each antiphon setting found on this website has three aspects: an original antiphon composed by Andrew Motyka, a psalm-tone for verses from the St. Meinrad psalm collection, and verse text from either the New American Bible (NAB), or, in future compositions, from the Revised Grail Psalms (RGP). Andrew has used the St. Meinrad psalm tones under their own usage policy outlined on their website, and obtained the appropriate permissions from the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) and GIA Publications for using their work. These are included on the final page of each antiphon setting. Should you wish to reproduce the psalm tone verses, NAB text, or RGP text in a worship aid for your parish or any other format other than the PDF files available for download here, you are obligated to include the following copyright information:
