We hope that everyone had a blessed Christmas and happy new year!  Just wanted to share an article originally published at New Liturgical Movement and now found on Corpus Christi Watershed about why the texts of the Gradual, which are used in the Laudate Dominum Communion Antiphons, are best suited for singing at Mass, as opposed to those found in the Missal.  Andy has explained that in the past, but this article provides greater detail and historical basis.
